Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad had a virtual competition Jan. 15 and will have their first in-person tournament tomorrow at Notre Dame.

“It’s tough being online because the website is prone to errors and crashes but we’re all excited for the rest of our tournaments since they are all in-person,” Hannah Loredo, sophomore, said.

Debate

Debate has their district competition today and tomorrow and their state competition Jan. 28 and 29.

“I’m excited because a lot of the competitors are really good and it’s interesting to see what they might argue and bring up,” Emily Lee, sophomore, said.

Theatre

Theater is going to the Thespian State Conference today.

ISSMA

ISSMA solo and ensemble competitions will be held at MHS Feb. 5.

“I’m kind of excited but also nervous because I’m doing a violin and choir solo and a string ensemble,” Annie Fuller, freshman, said.
