Students anticipate Best Buddies Bowl May 21

This year’s 5th annual Best Buddies Bowl will be held Friday, May 21 at the football field at 7 p.m. During the flag football game, there will be a 50-50 raffle and deserts being sold. All proceeds will go to future Best Buddies activities.

“I am excited to see the positive interaction between the Buddies and football players,” Mrs. Copp, exceptional needs teacher and co-sponsor, said. “Ms. Fus and I are thrilled to recognize the seniors for their dedication to Best Buddies.”

Besides the Buddies and football players, all students are welcome to show their support to the teams. All students who attend are required to wear a mask and social distance.

“It’s a fun way for everyone to get together,” Ms. Fus, ASL teacher and co-sponsor, said. “To allow those students who may not play on a traditional team to play against our football team in a game setting.”
