Powder puff

Powderpuff was one of many events cancelled this year, and seniors Sydney Skrobot and Taylor Graham relay their thoughts and memories.

“I really enjoy powderpuff, so I was upset it was cancelled,” Sydney said. “But at the end of the day it’s a small thing to give up to make sure that everyone and their families are safe.”

Despite powderpuff being cancelled, homecoming still retained some of its festivities for both eLearners and in-person students.

“(I’m) definitely (excited for) the homecoming game and the spirit weeks,” Taylor said. “And for eLearning, they definitely made it inclusive. So I still feel involved.”

As seniors experience their last homecoming during this pandemic, many are cherishing these last moments in high school, and looking forward towards the future.

“It’s definitely not what we all thought our senior year was going to look like, but honestly I’m just glad I get to spend time with my friends before we all head in different directions,” Sydney said. “I’m really excited to see where we all end up and what we pursue.”
