Nearing the end of their season. Bowling had their last match of the season on Dec. 8 and came out with a win against Bishop Noll. They finished their season with a record of 7-4.

“The last match of the season for us was a little rough, we had some problems midway through, but we toughed it out and won the match,” Casey Knor, sophomore, said. “I am proud of how we performed as a team.”

Bowling now places third out of the eight teams in the greater lake county conference. The program and team has come a long way from last season. Bowling is now an official club with Mrs. Becky McKeever, bookkeeper, and parent Craig Knor as sponsors.

“We are making a lot of improvements in terms of our team and also individual members,” Thomas Ashcraft, sophomore, said. “We are almost done with our season and have proved to be capable of doing great things in the coming years.”

Bowling has an all conference which is when seven of the top players from the year will be put on a team and bowl against other conferences, you earn points throughout the week depending on how good the bowler plays.

“My goals this year are to make it past Semi State and push as a team to make a run at Sectionals,” Casey said “I am trying to make the all-conference team, and I am currently sitting ninth in our conference. I am hoping to go far and do as best as I can for the rest of our season.”
